I constantly see people walking around the gym lifting weights that are clearly too heavy or only working out a certain body part and avoiding others.
You may think lifting heavy makes you a swoldier.. but the fact is that if you aren’t physically ready to lift that weight what you will sacrifice is technique (or form) to achieve “lifting” said weight.. which can lead to muscle tears and injuries which will just end up setting you back..
Doing more reps of a lighter weight will have much more effect than lifting a heavy weight poorly.
Also... if you want big arms or a sick as booty.. cool cool you do you I'm here for it... HOWEVER.. don’t avoid working out other areas of the body to only focus on those areas. The body works as an organism.. you may think legs aren’t important but they are.. you want to curl those 50kg weights well you need a sturdy base and that comes from legs and core.. you want that peach booty.. awesome go hard and strive for dat boot.. but you also need strength in your upper body and core in order to squat those big numbers safely.
No one area is more important than the other.. every muscle needs love and attention.. don’t be a neglectful parent.
